Welcome to the xMagic Glossary. This page defines core product terms used across the docs.
Agentβ
The primary AI assistant users interact with. It maintains context and routes specialized tasks to Subagents.
Subagentβ
A focused workflow inside an Agent (for example: appointment booking, support escalation, document generation). A Subagent can use one or more tools.
Driveβ
The document and data repository used for retrieval. Drive folders can be attached to Subagents to ground responses.
Toolβ
An action capability attached to a Subagent (for example: Scheduling, Ticket Forwarding, Files, Browser).
Custom Toolβ
A user-defined integration exposed through MCP. Once created, it can be attached to relevant Subagents.
Workspaceβ
Top-level container for your organizationβs agents, subagents, Drive folders, tools, billing, and member privileges.
Shortcutsβ
Predefined quick actions shown in chat that trigger specific Subagents.
Threadsβ
Conversations initiated by external/public users.
Artifactsβ
Files generated by tools and workflows (PDF, JSON, CSV/XLSX, DOCX, etc.).
